Sheila Majid performs at Pavilion KL for her 25th anniversary in showbiz

Malaysian queen of jazz Datuk Sheila Majid performed for her 25th anniversary in the showbiz by debuting her latest single Dengarkanlah and its music video at Centre Court, Pavilion KL on Wednesday 31st March 2010.

Titled “Sheila Majid 25 Years Celebration”, she sang her new song Dengarkanlah live for the very first time in Kuala Lumpur much to the amazement of her fans who were among the first to listen to the song as well as the screening of its music video.

Dengarkanlah is penned by her husband, Acis (formerly of pop band Gersang) and the lyrics written by Sheila herself.

Aside from the new single, Sheila also released a limited edition 8 CDs box set which comprised all her eight hit albums, including all-time favourites Emosi and Warna, to all her loyal fans for their everlasting love and support.

Sheila autographed and posed for photos with her fans who purchased the limited edition CDs box set.

The showcase is one of Pavilion Pit Stop happenings held in conjunction with the 12th edition of the Formula One (F1) Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2010 at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from April 2- 3, 2010.

Note:
Sheila Majid, whose real name is Shaheila Abdul Majid, was conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang, which carried the title Datuk, by HRM the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah in 2008.
