Deepavali Open House draws big crowd


It was a very successful event with more than 500 people gathered at the Deepavali Open House hosted by SS3 Rukun Tetangga (RT) at the Basketball Court in Jalan SS3/14 on Saturday 21st November 2009.

The VIP guests of honour were Dato' Dr Wong Sai Hou and his wife Datin Jennifer who were welcomed by SS3 Rukun Tetangga chairman Narasingam.

Dato' Dr Wong is the PJ Utara Barisan Nasional chairman and PJ Utara MCA Division secretary. He is also the president of Association of Backpackers Malaysia (ABM).

The crowd comprising the young and old of all races were in jovial mood enjoying themselves to the entertainment of traditional and moden musical and dance performances and were later feted with a sumptuous spread of mouth-watering North and South Indian dishes.

On his right is Section 21 SEA Park Residents Association (RA) chairman Gan Keng. Following behind him is PJ Utara MCA Division chairman Yeo Ing King.

SS3 Rukun Tetangga (RT) chairman Narasingam in welcoming everyone said he was very happy with the large number of people present.


Dato' Dr Wong Sai Hou said in his speech that the Deepavali Open House provides opportunities for everyone present to socialize and foster a closer rapport.
